Today kids will get acquainted with DIY Paper Quilling Designs and learn how to make Beautiful Flowers from narrow strips of paper.
Snowdrops
Materials:
— colored cardboard,
— white and green quilling paper,
— openwork napkin,
— PVA glue,
— long toothpick.

Making:
1. Twist 3 loose spirals on a toothpick — they are the snowdrop petals.

From these loose spirals make 3 main elements «eyes», pressing both sides of the spiral.

2. Take a green paper strip and make a tight spiral. With a blunt end of a skewer squeeze out a spiral middle shaping a cone.

3. Compose a snowdrop, glue the petals and insert them into the cone. If you want to make an unblown bud, put only one petal into the cone.
4. From green paper cut out thin twigs 8-9 cm long.

5. Cut 1/4 of the openwork napkin, delete an acute angle and make a workpiece of a basket, bending the ends to the middle.

6. Glue all the parts on a cardboard sheet.

You've made a lovely snowdrop bouquet, a cute gift for your mom or granny on Mother's day.
Here are some more samples of paper quilling flowers from simple to more complicated ones for your creative children.
