It`s a wonderful CHRISTMAS TREE made in the technique of paper twisting or quilling. I`m sure you`ll have no difficulty in creating it: the given assembly instructions in the master class will make the work easy. All you need is a great desire to have such a beauty at home at Christmas and a bit of creative imagination.

What You Need:
paper of different colors,
paperboard,
a twig,
PVA glue,
a skewer.

What You Do:
1. Start your work with making some circles and «drops».
Take a strip of paper of any color you like: green paper for making tree branches, paper of other colors is needed for circles ornaments. With a nail pull its end a bit and round it out. Place a skewer on it and wind the strip trying to make the first loop tighter.

2. When the paper has stuck to the skewer, you can roll only the skewer to the strip end.
3. Twist a circle. To take it off, revolve the skewer a little.

4. Now unbind the workpiece so as to make a ring with twisted helix: you should make a number of rings of different diameters 30, 27, 24, 21, 18 mm to form six layers on the tree (each layer may contain 5-6 branches). The branch size can be any you like. Then loosen the workpiece; if it has been twisted very tightly, squeeze it slightly with fingers to open it. Stick the end with PVA glue.

5. To make the form of a «drop», pull the helix middle to one side, from the other side squeeze some layers to have the sharp end.

6. Make the needed number of circles from the paper of different colors to create paper ornaments on the branches and green «drops» for the branches. One circle should be twisted from white paperboard in a bigger size. Together with a fixed twig it`ll be the stem of our fir-tree.

7. Join the green «drops» together to form a layer: first bigger «drops», then of middle size and after that smaller ones. Place the layers in turn on the stem basis. Glue small circles of various colors on some of the paper tree branches. On the top of the Christmas tree place the star. You can make it from yellow paper or any other color — squeeze the workpieces from both sides at the same time, then glue them together at one end.
