Thanksgiving Turkey with a Paper Hand Cut-out Craft

Thanksgiving Crafts for Kids of all Ages. Thankful Handmade Gifts

One of my favorites is making a Turkey with a paper hand cut-out. Kids can trace their hand on a piece of construction paper and cut it out. Next, they can decorate the thumb to be the turkey’s head and the other fingers to be the turkey’s feathers. Then on each “feather,” they can write down one thing that they are thankful for. It is a great way to keep kids occupied and get creative.

To create such a live wood picture you should be an artist in the soul — the picture is exclusive.

You'll Need:

— old frame for a picture 7-10 cm broad;
— twigs and small pieces of wood 5-10 cm long;
— 4 glass test-tubes;
— 5 corks and hotmelt.

Making:

1. Arrange the twigs and wood pieces on the old frame as desired and glue with hotmelt.

2. On the back side of the frame glue the corks in a row with the intervals for the test-tubes.

3. Fasten the test-tubes between the corks, pour some water into them and put natural flowers into the test-tubes.

The Live Picture Gift is ready to be given to your family to enjoy Thanksgiving day.
