On the eve of Christmas new creative ideas come into the heads and unconventional crafts are made. Let's enrich our collection of Christmas ideas and make a cute bauble — a fluffy FIR-TREE.

This handmade kids craft will need neither a lot of time nor expensive materials or special skills. Besides, this detailed master class will help you in the work!

So, let's start.

We'll need:
green yarn hank
a knitting hook of the needed size
a sewing needle

The first row: knit a chain of the air stitches of the needed length (it'll be the width of the fir-tree base). We've knitted 25 stitches.

The second row: knit the columns without throws on into the stitches of the previous row.

The third row (the extracted stitches): wind round the forefinger of the left hand the working thread clockwise…

… and put the knitting hook into the column of the previous row. Take the thread from a yarn hank from the forefinger and knit the column without a throw on. Take the thread from the forefinger. Repeat the actions throwing on a new stitch.

Note: Working with the extracted stitches, we knit the purl stitches. Beginning each row, insert the knitting hook into the second column of the previous row (photo 2 in the upper row), and finishing the row, don't knit the last column (photo 1 in the lower row). In this way you diminish the stitch number on the edges and get a triangle.

Knit such two fluffy triangles and sew them with a thread in the tone. And you've got a double-sided fir-tree bauble!

Awesome! But not easy to make I think.
