Funny Little Worm

It's necessary to make a lot of circles of the same diameter. If you have special stamps, the whole process will be quick.

To make a lot of circles take a long strip of necessary paper, measure the width equal to the circle diameter and roll an acсordion. Draw the contour and cut out the template using it.

You'll have as many circles as the number of times you've folded the paper strip.

Now fold each workpiece in half and begin to make the worm's body. For this grease the low part of the circle with glue and on it stick the next circle.

To make such birds and butterflies you'll need a thick cardboard sheet, colored paper, watercolor paints, felt-tip pens, ready-made plastic eyes, glue, disposable plates… and naturally your imagination.

Stork

Nice crafts of the stork can be made from available materials too: plastic plates and spoons.

First cut a plate carefully into the pieces as shown in the photo. Paint black or draw with a black marker the plate edges that will serve the stork's wings.

Red spoons will be the bird's legs. To look the legs more nicely, cut the edges of the spoons to make them smaller.

Further, glue the parts to make a stork: to the main part-body stick the wings, legs and the head (from a white plastic spoon) on which the eyes and the red beak are glued. (You may take the beak from the cuttings of the red spoon.)

To create this delightful applique you'll need a sheet of colored cardboard (here it's light brown), an album sheet and colored paper.

Place a cardboard sheet vertically. From an album sheet cut out a birch crown and glue it on the basis. Cut out a wide strip from an album sheet, roll it up and glue their edges together. Glue the made trunk on the birch crown. From green paper cut out small leaves in the shape of a heart. Birch earrings are made from yellow paper: cut out thin strips and roll small spirals. Glue 2 spirals on each leaf. With a marker draw short horizontal lines on the birch trunk. Glue the green grass.

Chicks in the Nest

Start making this marvelous applique with a brown tree (if necessary, help your children to draw and cut out a trunk, branches and leaves). Glue the parts of a tree on a sheet of cardboard. Then from thin narrow brown strips of paper form and glue a nest on a bigger branch and place 3 lovely chicks into the nest. The chicks are made from the lumps of cotton; on the head glue the eyes and a beak.

2. Draw a sprig with leaves. Depending on the quantity of seeds you can make lilies of the valley, chamomiles, snowdrops.

3. Ask the kid to draw the picture (if necessary).

4. On a draft sheet show your kid the process of gluing the seeds in the shape of a flower. Let your child compose a bouquet by himself.

To make these origami flowers you'll need a paper sheet with the sides 5 cm. Fold it in half to mark the middle line.

Then the end is turned down and the workpiece looks a bit like a trapezium. Bend the edges to the side that is looking at you.

Hold the tip of the nail along the bends to fix the paper in this position.
