Crafts for kids. I hope you'll enjoy this cute craft as it'll remind you of your childhood. As for me, I remember how many years ago my mom cut out such large snowflakes (or perhaps, they only seemed large as I was a little girl). The snowflakes were white, volume, and surprisingly beautiful, hung everywhere in the house and looked openwork and attractive. I'd like to show you how to make such a snowflake. Sure, some of you know the technique of its making, but I hope there are young girls who'll be glad to learn about it on the eve of Christmas.
You'll need:

White paper size A 4 — 6 sheets
Scissors
A ruler
A pencil
A stapler
Glue
Lets start.
1. Cut a square out of a sheet A 4.

2. Fold the square in two to make a triangle, then fold this triangle half and half.

3. From one edge to the folded middle draw the lines, by which you'll cut your snowflake. But don't reach about 0,5 cm to the edge.

4. Now cut by the drawn lines. You'll have such noodles.

5. Unfold the square. You'll have the figure from which you'll make the ray of the snowflake.

6. Then glue the points of the free angles (each time leaving one point), putting one onto another.

Further, turn your snowflakes over and glue the the rest angles from the opposite side.

As a result, you should have such a segment.

7. Out of other sheets make 6 such segments — they'll be the petals of your snowflake. When everything is ready, take a stapler and fasten your segments by 3 pieces.

8. Take the fastened parts and with a stapler fasten them together once more in the middle and the petals to each other, so that your snowflake shouldn't fall to pieces while hanging.

And here it is. Your snowflake is ready. You can hang it on the New Year tree, on the wall, or anywhere.

Out of the left strips one can cut more squares and make smaller snowflakes. You can take thicker paper and the snowflakes will be thick. You may also cut out using figured scissors and your snowflakes will be openwork. You can glue tinsels on the edge of the snowflakes. Nice light snowflakes are made from colored one-sided paper.
