Art lessons for kids. This art lesson in the carving technique for children will certainly interest a number of craft makers as it's not complicated. Even beginners will successfully cope with it — a handmade CROCODILE from a cucumber, hiding somewhere in the bushes. The bushes are the salad leaves, a radish and 2 black pepper peas — for the eyes. The crocodile will be a lovely decor of a festive table.

The scheme of making:

1. Cut off the cucumber upper part at an angle (the cut off cucumber piece will be needed for the legs); make a cut for the crocodile mouth, into which put the tongue, made from a piece of sausage or ham.

2. Slice carefully the cucumber, so that the crocodile shouldn't break down.

3. Out of the cut cucumber piece make the crocodile's paws; for the eyes cut off two small pieces of a radish. You also need salad leaves and 2 black pepper peas.
