Belgian Waffles Recipes for a Waffle-Iron


Belgian Thick Waffles


Ingrediants:


— 2 glasses of flour,
— 2 teaspoons of baking powder,
— pinch of salt,
— 4 eggs,
— 2 table spoons of sugar,
— a little of vanillin and cardamom powder,
— 4 teaspoons of melted unsalted butter,
— 2 glasses of milk (you may take less).

Recipe of Cooking:


Heat a waffle-iron.
Mix flour, baking powder and salt in one bowl. In the second bowl mix egg yolks and sugar with a wooden spoon until complete dissolution of sugar, then add vanillin, melted butter and milk, whip up well. Add the egg mixture to the flour mixture and knead until smooth, but don't knead long.

In the third bowl with a mixer whip up white of the egg till white thick foam (1-2 min.), then add this mixture into the one made earlier and mix not whipping. Grease the waffle-iron with butter and bake till golden brown.

Cryspy Thin Waffles


Ingredients:


— 5 eggs,
— 1 glass of sugar,
— 200 gr. of margarine,
— 1,5 glass of flour,
— vanillin

Cooking:


Mix the eggs with sugar. Chop the margarine finely, melt it on low heat and mix with eggs and sugar. Mix well till complete melting sugar. Add the flour bit by bit so as not to have lumps of dough. Bake by small portions in the electric waffle-iron. Roll the baked waffles into tubes quickly, fill in with cream or boiled condensed milk with nuts.
