Vegetable carving for beginners. More often to decorate dishes the flower theme is used: roses, tulips, daisies, chamomiles are made from fruits and vegetables. Foe those who are a bit «tired» of flowers, we offer to decorate their dishes with orange Butterflies from Carrots.

Take a carrot and cut off a circle 2 mm thick not reaching 3 mm to the end. Then cut off the same circle but in full — you've got 2 circles connected with each other.

Plce the workpiece with its connected part to yourself. Cut off about 1/4 part of the circle rounding out the angle a bit up.

Cut the strip beginning from the top to the bottom.

Open the wings of the butterfly and flatten out its mustaches. A long piece of carrot may be put into the middle so that the wings shouldn't close.
