We know that parents want to cultivate in a child love for creativity, so carving from vegetables is a great idea. Carving is perfect for dish decoratin. I`m sure your daughter will be delighted to learn to make something in carving. Teach her how to make DAHLIA — this flamboyant flower can be made from any solid vegetable: radish, potato, carrot; and the given photoes will help you. To create the flower you`ll need an oval knife of medium size for carving and a thin knife with a pointed tip.

1. Make a bit flattened workpiece 5-6 cm in diameter from a homogeneous vegetable.
