Here`s one more nice carving idea for kids to practise in this technique — it`s simple and pleasant in making. Beginners in carving will enjoy it — CROWN from TOMATOES.

Start making the Crown:
With a narrow knife cut zigzag an unpeeled tomato by the circle to its middle. Divide the two halves turning them to different sides. Take the core away with a coffee knife or a special device. Cut the tomato bottom a bit for stability. (In the given photo the second picture shows how to make a crown.)

STUFFING:
Blanch slightly cauliflower, broccoli and put them into the vinegar sauce. Stuff the crown previously sprinkled inside with salt and pepper with the prepared mixture. Place the crown on a circle of ham. The Crown from Tomatoes is made! Bon appetite!
