Vegetable carving art is for you again. An original idea of decorating salads is a net with fish from different vegetables. A net can be placed under cut meat or sandwiches, and a dish can be garnished with colorful fish. Our pictured tutorial will make your carving easy and pleasant.

Fish from Vegetables

Make a net for fish from carrot with a sharp knife and a long wood skewer.

1. Shape a cylinder from a carrot and pierce in its center with a thin wood skewer.

2. Soak a vegetable in a salt brine for 2 hours (1 table spoon of salt for a glass of water). The vegetable should be soft enough and not break while thin cutting.

3. Divide the vegetable into 4 parts visually. Make the same incisions on the upper and lower sides, cut up to the skewer. The distance between the cuts is 0,5 cm. Incise on the sides too — between the incisions on the upper and lower sides.

4. Carefully cut the vegetable round a long thin ribbon till the skewer. Cut off the skewer and spread the network.

5. Cut fish from different products: cheese, apples, beet, squash, pumpkin.
