GEOMAX and cheaper analogues of the Magnetic Sets for children

As for me, I`m fond of creative magnetic sets, but we haven`t got an expensive Geomag but a Magnetix of Chinese production. It`s much cheaper but of good quality. There`s a big choice of Chinese cheap analogues of Geomax — they are of different shapes: direct, curved, with additional parts squares and rectangles. But the shape isn`t important for such sets — what matters here is the number of parts. Our first set consisted of about 70 parts — the game finished very quickly while a kid got just a taste of playing. Now our set contains 244 parts which is suitable for a collective game.

Some advise to play on a tin tray — the set parts aren`t lost very quickly.

What`s the difference of a cheap set from Geomag? It`s the gravitation of the parts. One can`t build something high from Magnetics — only 3 levels. You can build an unbreakable design from Geomag regardless of the levels.

It`s interesting — video set Geomax:

The given information concerns only Geomag as simpler designs can be made from other magnetic sets; but to play with them is also interesting for both adults and children. It`s only dangerous to give such sets to toddlers — they contain too little balls and the sticks aren`t big, too.
